Interview Guide
Similar to Resume, once you click “Interview Guide”, you will be directed to the Interview Guide page which has a similar layout to the other tools. If you like what you see, you can directly download this guide to keep as your reference during the interview.
-
Note that if your application status is “Applying”, ApplyTailor will ask you whether you got an interview for that position. If you say yes, it will help you change your application status to “Interviewing”.
The Interview Guide has three parts:
- Technical Question Topics: A list of things that might be asked in the technical interview. We can’t predict which coding question is going to be asked, but this should give you a high level of what might get asked in a technical interview.
- Behavioral Question & Answers: We ask AI to play the role of the interviewer, and think of ten questions that they would ask you in a behavioral interview. We then ask AI to play the role of the interviewee and answer these questions using your information.
- Questions to ask the interviewer: Have you ever had an interview where at the end they ask you “Do you have any questions?” and you cannot think of any? We will help you think of ten insightful questions you can ask them.
Optional Improvements
Similar to the cover letter, you can add more information for AI to use as a reference.
- Extra info about the company: For example, a paragraph about this company’s value from their website.
- Extra info about the interviewer: For example, the interviewer is a senior technical recruiter from Google.
- Extra info about you: Things you want the interviewer to know about you, or information you did not include in the user profile.
- Any other instructions: Think of this as a free prompt box to let AI do any further customizations.
- Any specific questions you want to be included in this guide: If you found some questions on Reddit of 1point3acres, you can put them here and AI will focus on answer these questions.
